Hersha Hospitality Trust buys DC hotel for $73M

Hersha Hospitality Trust said Wednesday it has acquired a Hampton Inn hotel in Washington D.C. for $73 million. The 228-room property was built in 2005 and is the only Hampton Inn located in the District of Columbia, the company said.
